Remember I once said that all things Korean would find their way to me? In 2009 I was all nuts about Tony Moly, and yes, it has opened here. By the end of this year, I hear that Innisfree will be available, and a little birdy also said that Hera might just be available by 2014. Bring on the Korean K-beauty wave baybeh! Here’s one more awesome Korean beauty brand that has reached the little red dot – Too Cool For School has firmly parked its quirky butt at Far East Plaza, #03-53, Singapore 228213.
I’m pretty happy that most of the product offerings are available here, although those looking for the cute oil blotting puff and paper set will be slightly disappointed. The oil blotter paper is available, just not the puff, Ah well.
Too Cool For School is located at Far East Plaza, #03-53. It’s near an escalator, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
The cute centrepiece decor that greets you at the main door (and the one that I nearly toppled over cos of le large bag and le large ass).
I start from the right side of the store. in the photo on the left, it’s their famed After School BB Foundation Lunch Box , which comes with a concealer, highlighter and BB cream. I bought it from Korea, so will do a review soon
Moving further into the store – what’s dees I spy wif my leetle eye? I thought it was a 6-pec sculpting lotion (would have bought a carton of it for le brother if it worked), but nah, it’s just a sunblock for men. or women, if you like. There’s no particular correlation between the packaging and the product iteself , but hey, it definitely got my attention. -hamsup mode on-
On the right: the Bad Girl Good Girl lip gloss and tint combi.
One of the products that caught my eye – on the Right, you have Maybe Baby, a 2-in-1 lip product that has a lip scrub to help the flakes off chapped lips and a lip essence (which is a lip balm) to moisturise and heal your lips. Smexy smackers anyone?
Their famed and popular Dinoplatz range – I’ve already reviewed the Dinoplatz Escalator Mascara
Play Cheek Angel Blusher with puff ($24) and Pocket perfume (a solid perfume) ($26)
The McGirly BB cream comes in a similar packaging as the O hui Auto Cover Cream Foundation
Spot Solution Stick ($16) for banishing blemishes and the McGirly Booster ($45) , which is a toner. Am loving the packaging, which is similar to that of traditional Korean rice wine Makkeoli 막걸리, one of my favourite Korean alcohols. heh.
What goes on, must come off- this is the Sitkoza range of cleansing products, From L-R: Cleansing Foam ($26), Cleansing Gel ($20) and Cleansing Water ($25)
By this time, I’d finally managed to make my way to one of the most crowded portions – the eye makeup area.
Of course, there are more products instore but I really couldn’t squeeze my way through, plus I had to rush off to meet Michelle Reis at the Shiseido Cocktail parteh. Why not head on down to find out more for yourself?
